Chronicles of an Inspired Single Mom

Day 9, I’m almost at the end!!! Did I somehow miss a day by a few hours? Absolutely! Blame it on the gym and an involuntary nap thereafter.

As I sit here listening to my chilled lofi music I just wanted to close out these last two days celebrating some of my achievements living here in the UK for a decade! Not in any particular order let’s jump into this!

1. I secured a permanent job – It took seven years before I locked in a permanent position, but thanks be to God I did!
2. Full UK driving license: now this may not seem like a big deal to some. But driving in the UK is hella different. So to be able to push past my fears of the motorway, dual carriage ways, the road layouts and rules and have that freedom plastic in my hand is EVERYTHING!
3. Completed my undergraduate degree: Into my 5th year of living here I graduated with a 2:1:BA Hons degree in Business Marketing
4. Travel: I’ve been able to travel to a few places but look forward to this increasing in the future. Portugal will forever be special in my heart and my time in Paris seeing the Eiffel Tower in person.
5. Own my car: again may not seem like a big deal but to me being a single mom at the time making steps to get a car and then years later making that final payment. Saying that this is MINE is the best feeling.

Tomorrow is day 10 and I’ll celebrate the final 5 goals/achievements I am most proud of accomplishing, living here in the UK for 10 years
