Day 8 of recounting my 10 year journey in the UK….now if you’ve read all of my posts, thank you for being so faithful.

Now you may be reading and thinking mannn she’s really going through it. Yes but…No! The move has not being all negative. It has definitely had it’s upside, so today my one thought for you is: INDULGE

Say what now??? Indulge! Coming from a tiny island and landing in a large place can be intimidating. But you are here for a reason. Sometimes as Caribbean people we have a tendency of boxing ourselves in. Same food, some company, same routine, afraid to try something new, blah, blah, blah

Indulge! Stop staying in your house watching tv everyday. You don’t have to jump on a plane to find enjoyment around you. The UK (or wherever you choose to reside) is an amazing place. Indulge a little, explore a lot. This in itself will make for a delightful journey. Life was meant to be enjoyed not endured.

So what are you waiting for open your google and start researching places you can visit. You don’t need a crowd with you, sometimes you can do it by yourself. Trust me, this will enlighten your days.
